PISTOL - SIDEARM
Each Nerf Warrior has his or her own favorite Nerf gun which he or she will heavily depend on in Nerf Wars. But what happens when that gun runs out of ammo? Most assault rifle or shotgun type Nerf guns can take quite long to reload and their owner will be completely vulnerable and defenceless for the duration of the reloading process. Does this mean that reloading your main weapon during a Nerf war is essentially a death sentence? Not necessarily!
All Nerf veterans agree on one thing: regardless of what your favorite Nerf gun is, you always need to carry around a side arm or secondary gun to keep you from being defenceless when you won’t be able to fire your favorite gun. Nerf pistols are often laughed at by many Nerfers, but they can and will save your life when your main gun will be out of commission! With that being said, each Nerf warrior worth his salt shouldn’t be without a side arm!
As you can probably tell, there are many side arm or pistol models for you to choose from. Our detailed and in depth reviews are here to help you with that! Here are some of the topics that we will cover in them:
- Firing mechanisms
Nerf side arms fall into two categories: semi automatic and single shot pistols. As you can probably tell, each category has its pros and cons (semi automatics have greater ammo capacity than single shot pistols, but are way less accurate, for example). Our reviews will present the advantages and disadvantages of each gun, in order to help you pick the one that best suits your game play style.
- Range
Believe it or not, there are a lot of Nerf guns that have designed to be used as side arms, that have a greater than most assault Nerf guns! In other words, some Nerf pistols will allow you to hit targets that are simply too far away for your main gun to hit. Our reviews will inform you on about how far Nerf pistol can actually fire its projectiles, to help you pick the one that “works better” with your main Nerf gun.
- Weight and size
In order to be effective during combat, side arms need to be out of your way when you don’t them, which is why their size and weight matters a lot: the smaller and lighter a side arm is, the easier it will be to conceal and carry around during combat, since it won’t take up much room in your combat gear. Our reviews will let you know how big and heavy each Nerf pistol model is, in order to help you pick the one that best fits your combat gear and load-out.
Those are just some of the topics that we will talk about in the Nerf side arm and pistol section of our website. We sincerely hope that you enjoy your stay and that our reviews will help you pick the right gun for you and your team!
